La Classicissima — the longest one-day race. The early Ligurian climbs (Turchino, Capo Mele, Capo Cervo, Capo Berta) soften the legs before the Cipressa and decisive Poggio. Most editions end in a sprint but the fastest descenders can solo off the Poggio.
